UNTUK MENUNJUKKAN SESUATU YANG DIKETAHUI ADA. EXAMPLE:

“A fly

The first sentence is a factual and impersonal. “The fly” is a subject and “soup” is an
object.

“There

·
The
second sentences “a fly in my soup”
is an object. So “There” is a subject.
3.
The
function of “There” is one of kind subject (dummy) to represent that more personal than factual statement.
